About Me
I started my counselling training by completing a Level 2 and 3 in Counselling skills and theory. I then graduated with a Humanistic Counselling BSc from the Metanoia Institute, London which is renowned for its excellence and high standards for counselling and psychotherapy training.
I have worked with a variety of clients with different presenting issues, both in long-term and short-term therapy. This includes working in the NHS IAPT service, Mind and Sutton Womens Centre before setting up Banstead Therapy. I am also a qualified workplace mental health first aider.
As a BACP registered counsellor I adhere to their ethical standards.
Prior to working as a counsellor I have worked in both the private and public sectors so have an understanding of various work settings and the pressure this can bring to get the right work/life balance.
